Fencing New Zealand is currently undertaking a formal Risk Assessment to determine whether it is appropriate and viable to send a team to the Commonwealth Senior, Veterans and U23 Championships in Lagos, Nigeria.
Before any commitment is made, the Board is calling for Expressions of Interest to assess athlete demand and overall feasibility.
The Youth Olympic Games are scheduled to be held in Dakar Senegal, from October 30th to November 14th 2026.
Nominations for this event were called for last year and have now closed.

Elections will be held for the following Board positions. Nominations are now invited for this position and close on Sunday 2nd February 2026 at 7pm. (A reminder that all Board positions are on a voluntary basis)
