Fencing New Zealand is currently undertaking a formal Risk Assessment to determine whether it is appropriate and viable to send a team to the Commonwealth Senior, Veterans and U23 Championships in Lagos, Nigeria.

Before any commitment is made, the Board is calling for Expressions of Interest to assess athlete demand and overall feasibility.

The Youth Olympic Games are scheduled to be held in Dakar Senegal, from October 30^th to November 14^th 2026.

Nominations for this event were called for last year and have now closed.

For all these nominees, below is the Selection Criteria that has now been approved by the New Zealand Olympic Committee.

With 60+ fencers already registered, the 2026 Fencing New Zealand Training Camp is shaping up to be a fantastic training opportunity.

Fencing New Zealand Annual General Meeting – Sunday 15^th March 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting for Fencing NZ will take place at 7pm on Sunday 15^th March 2026 via video conference.

 Elections will be held for the following Board positions. Nominations are now invited for this position and close on Sunday 2^nd February 2026 at 7pm. (A reminder that all Board positions are on a voluntary basis)

Registrations are now open for the FeNZ Two-Day Training Camp, happening Friday 17 and Saturday 18 January 2025 at Mt Albert Grammar School Auckland.
