Competition update
The President's Cup, the first national event of the year, will be held in Wellington 15th and 16th August. The NZ National Secondary Schools Championships will be held in Christchurch in September.
Fencing can now operate with no requirements for physical distancing and no restrictions on gathering numbers.
Fencing NZ and the Regions are run by a group of volunteers that work hard in the background to ensure fencing operates at all levels and fencers are able to compete both in NZ and internationally.
Sport NZ have issued their latest guidelines following the move to allow gatherings of up to 100 from today at 12pm.
Guidance on Fencing activities under Covid-19 Alert Level 2
Sport NZ Covid-19 Alert Level 2 guidelines allow for sports, including contact sports, to resume if they are compliant with public health measures. This means that sports can only resume where good contact tracing is possible and hygiene measures,
